Big boobs or big butts: Who has it worse?

Today I was trying on the cutest dress at TJ Maxx. You know just wasting my money away. What can I say I'm a sucker for deals. It was square cut at the neck, cream white base with an attached black skirt and the zipper showing down the back. It fitted my hips, covered enough leg, but didn't fit my chest. I was kind of devastated. This is the effect dresses have on me. Everything about the dress was great. The style, the fit, the neutral colors, and the way it made me feel. Other than my boobs look like they are being suffocated. The only problem with the dress was that it wasn't made for anyone who is skinny and endowed. So I liked the dress so much I bought it for my best friend because she would also look great in it but then I thought about her assets. And we both were contemplating who had it worse when it comes finding clothes befitting of our bodies?

Having a larger bust is a gift if you are a male with an over active sex drive. I have tried on a many of dresses that I thought my bust didn't look so bad but it did look bad! I bought those dresses and then returned them realizing if it doesn't fit, it doesn't fit. So do you think the busty girls have it bad?

My best friend debated she had it worse because even though certain dresses can't fit my top I can always find fitted tops. Wherein she can't find a good pair of jeans made for bootylicious girls unless it's one of those brands made especially but costs more than what pants should be. Or do you think big butted girls have it worse?

Hmm. I expect every body type comes with its own annoying challenges, so I don't know the answer to that question.

However, I do know that those cupcakes are awesome. lol!

oiii...i have neither, so i don't know, but i imagine an unproportional bustline can give you back problems.

Well, shopping-wise...probably big butts.  Fitting the lower body is
tough, like way back when when low-rise jeans didn't exist and I
couldn't find anything to fit my small waist and bigger hips.

I'm like you and it's annoying that I have to buy the next size up in clothes just so they fit my boobs. The sleeves and body of the shirt are always hanging off me and it's annoying. I look like I can't buy clothes correctly lol

it goes both ways.  i have a really hard time finding fitted dresses, shirts and skirts.  i'm a bit curvy, so when i shop, i have to go for a little more curvy cuts and i usually find that more in the department stores and have to pay a little more for it.  it's sad that the designers are making clothes for straight bodied or flatter chested girls.

@just_the_average_jane@xanga - i know those cupcakes took some real talent!

@elelkewljay@xanga - yeah mine isn't anything like that but i really liked that dress!!!

@ScorpioInBlack@xanga - yeah i agreed with my best friend too. she had it worse. hahaha

@MochaSprinkle@xanga - i know and i tried on the small and medium of that dress and my boobs still looked bad! dammit why do designers think just because most girls are smaller in the bust they can cinch their clothes to that genre! if anything busty girls buy more clothes. hahaha

@mewithoutu77@xanga - agree on the whole designed for smaller chested girls. especially stupid american eagle! where do yu shop?

  • mewithoutu77@xanga

@mTs - i shop at macy's, norstrom's, gap, br, and sometimes at ny & co.  i try to stay away from junior size stores because nothing fits.  when i shop, i usually go for misses.  the styles almost the same if not, better fitting.  it's a little more pricey, but i rather have clothes that fit me nicely than tight clothes.

I guess you just have to work with what you have.. My friends seem to like both so if you have ether more power to you I guess. Bigger isn't just better amongst girls tho.. ..(sigh).. Although I guess that doesn't really effect on what we can wear.

Big bust is worse. They won't be looking at your face. With a big butt, you'd have to turn around in order to get it noticed.

@mewithoutu77@xanga - love gap! and i kept help going towards the junior section. i still like cutesy stuff!

@WilldrawsRainbows@xanga - i just wished i knew how to power sew and fix everything that is every wrong with things i buy. but i can't hahaha.

@Meowmeowkimmaee@xanga - does that happen a lot to you?

  • Meowmeowkimmaee@xanga

    @mTs - haha no...i don't have a big bust.

  • x__BeautiifulxDiisaster__x@xanga

I know I'm a little late on this post, haha, but I have both problems. :(

  • mTs

@x__BeautiifulxDiisaster__x@xanga - its never too late! thanks for reading and where do you shop?

  • x__BeautiifulxDiisaster__x@xanga

@mTs - bah! I would have to say everywhere... I'm kinda tomboyish, so I get my jeans at bluenotes, garage and forever 21.. they fit not bad since you can get different lengths and waist sizes (I'm only 5'4" :( haha). For tops, I shop at pretty much the same places. I find it easier to get tops that fit than jeans, though. I try to find tops that go in after the bust, otherwise they end up too big at the bottom. I usually save up and buy a few expensive jeans that fit properly compared to buying a lot of cheaper jeans that don't fit as well.

No, what REALLY sucks is having a petite midsection and huge bosoms. I was a 34D and lost a cup, but even as a 34C I struggle with trying to find tubetops with built in bras that are tight enough. For some reason they generalize that if you're a small then you must have small bosoms too, which isn't the case because a small is too small cupwise, and a medium is to big in the midsection.

After some thought, though I personally have the issue of the bust area, it is the booty girls who have it harder.  With the bust we can always get a size to fit the top and then taper it down for the reset of the body.  But it is a lot more difficult to find bottoms and fix it to fit.

In both cases, it just sucks.  They at least have pants for the booty girls - was it, Apple Bottoms?  But what of the booby girls?  I had actually wanted to create a clothing line for the well endowed at one point.  Ah well.. (And now someone will take this idea.  BETTER MAKE EM GOOD!)

@Daria_Diaree@xanga - hahaha! i made this post thinking of my time in american eagle and tjmaxx. both times i tried on dresses and they fit my body perfectly even my height but my boobs always looked like they were popping out or deformed cause it was so tight it the dresses. makes me angry how they can be lazy thinking everyone who wants their clothing is flat chested!! hmph!

  • Daria_Diaree@xanga

@mTs - Most clothes I've learned are made for size B cup.  Cuz it's right in between A and C.  >.<  I know this cuz my friend and I are the same size, but she's a B, and when it can't fit me up there, it fits her GORGEOUSLY.  *jealous*  So thankfully I've learned how to sew.  I actually got to fix one dress once, I had a good 3-4" gaping triangle at the top zipper on the back.  Fixed it so it would fit.  Did you know, if you have no time to do a zipper fix to adjust for the bust, you can also turn the zipper side into something like a corset lacing?  ^.^

  • mTs

@Daria_Diaree@xanga - yeah sewing would def be a good trait to have. what kind of dress was it so yu could pull off a corset lace thing.

  • Daria_Diaree@xanga

@mTs - It looked like a prom dress (it was one of the girls that was part of the bday celebrant's court - imagine like the "bridesmaids" but it was an 18th bday party).  But I'm sure you can do it to any dress if you make it look right.
