Alexander McQueen's Plato's Atlantis Shoes
Check out Alexander McQueen's Spring 2010 shoe line. Is it daring, extreme, or just plain bizarre? You be the judge.
McQueen has designed the ultimate statement shoe. This 10 inch heel is a sure fire way to liven up a party conversation. Honestly, if I see a lady with this shoe on there are two things on my mind. You look absolutely amazing and does your feet hurt?
These shoes are works of art to be admired, but would you buy them to wear or display it in your living room on a pedestal?

I think they're amazing! Not very wearable though. I feel kind of bad for the models that had to walk down a runway in those! :) Those are more for art, than wearing. :)
i know! talk about ankle breaking! and i bet they practiced a lot with these shoes.
Those are SCARY.
I wouldn't even put them up as art - visitors might think I keep torture devices around >_>
@Lil_Dude433@xanga - hahahaha so mean! i want these for xmas!
@Lil_Dude433@xanga - Well I guess you can always have 'em around for burglars...
They're perfect for hitting someone...pretty sure it'll hurt too.
@Lil_Dude433@xanga - yeah they actually look like wrecking balls.
The illusion of these shoes is that people think her feet are pointed down, in the shape of the heels, but they're NOT!
I've deciphered how the women walked in these shoes. They were PLATFORM SHOES!
You wear them like every other high heel, just that they were layered to be taller. The curved front part just helps cover up, giving it an illusion.
Bet I was the first to decipher it
These do indeed appear painful.. I guess beauty has always been hand in hand with discomfort. I wonder if this will start a new trend?
It's good to be a male lol
@Lil_Dude433@xanga - hahaha since us girls know about the whole heel situation we kind of already figured it out. well the smart ones anyways! join the group!
@WilldrawsRainbows@xanga - hahaha but guys are so limited to fashion. can't be helped i supposed.
@mTs - WELL, at least the first GUY (besides McQueen who designed them...and maybe his team of designers...)
