    Scarf Mania

I think Jessica Alba's signature accessory would be her scarves. She even dressed her daughter, Honor, in a great magenta scarf. Thus I contribute this blog to strictly scarves which I'm sure you can match them with any great winter ensemble for upcoming Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's events.

Abercrombie & Fitch has some great vintage scarves for sale on their website. What I like about this scarf are the extra tassels detail, the fall like pattern, and the deep dyes. I'm not a A&F kind of girl myself but I might be changing my mind once I get the job as a Model there!

Anthopologie is known for unique clothing items and elegance. This scarf and unique is one and the same. Not only does it have some flower pattern but an ellaborate field of wild flowers that fade in as it gets closer to the ends of the scarf.

I found this fun and yummy scarf at fredflare.com. Why I recommend it? It may match that love of tootie rolls of the owner or make a boring look into a quirky one. I bought one for my sister actually as a souvenir from a field trip in my middle school days. Coincedence?

This nifty scarf doubles up as a neckwarmer and holds loose change or lip gloss! I say it is fashionable and cost effective. The capabilities of this scarf can only be measured by you. Featured at karmaloop.com.

This scarf is so girly. If the lace, embroidery, and tulle wasn't enough, I don't know what is. I actually like the fan effect it has going on. It makes it individual and rogue. Spotted this at lulus.com. If you can't tell I do a lot of online shopping.

Do you have a scarf you are dying to get your hands on or a scarf fetish in general?

If you could have one attribute of a VS Angel, what would it be?

If you could harness one attribute of the many qualities a Victoria Secret Angel possesses, what would it be ladies or gentlemen?

Would it be the fact that they are the highest paid models in the world? How much you say? Enough to buy yourself a Lamborghini and everyone in town. As the saying goes beauty does come with a price.

Would you choose the quality that men seem the most attracted to when meeting a lady at first sight? That is right, the cleavage prevails. My eyes are up here boys!

Or would you choose the charisma they seem to possess walking up and down the catwalk with their heads held high? Not to mention they carry wings bigger than themselves.

Would it be the never ending legs that goes on for miles? I presume that is why they became models in the first place.

Or would it be the lovely locks on their pretty little heads? Having the right hair does wonders to a girl's overall beauty.

Would it be having your very own make up crew around to powder your nose? Admit it, you would love this if you never had to worry about your own make up for just one day.

Would it be to have a very extraordinary derriere? I actually have found many people who prefer the tush over all body characteristics.

Would it be to have seductive eyes without even noticing? Not the kind where she is eye effing you but looking into your eyes suggesting a tousle in a private location.

Would you choose the possibility of receiving free lingerie whenever you want it when you want it? I bet that comes in handy when you want to surprise the husband on your anniversary.

Or would you want to wear lovely and expensive lingerie 365 days a year and no one can hassle you about your appearance?

Would you choose any of these qualities? Add some of your own that you admire about these ladies.

    What is your signature color?

Do you have this infinite attraction to objects when it is your favorite color? Do you tend to choose your more fancy clothes in a shade that makes you shine or makes your mood just a bit brighter? I am talking about the one color of the spectrum that your friends always see you in. Your signature color!

Like Victoria Beckham a.k.a. Posh Spice I have this mutual attraction to lavenders, purples, violets, or lilacs. This color has been my favorite color since I was born. Purple dresses, tops, and objects always catches my eye when I walk into a boutique or department store. I don't necessarily think this is a flattering color on my skin tone or if it brings out my eyes. I just love this color so much, I don't care if it adds to my beauty but more to my mood of the day. That is the power of purple!

Have you ever encountered a color that you unconsciously dress yourself in whether it be a dress, top, skirt, scarf, hat, or heels? Or do you have a color that you love but think it is unattractive on you?

    4 Recession Free Dresses

I have found four intricately designed dresses that is recession proof ladies. Not one, not two, not even three, but four! These dresses range from casual to cocktail.

I noticed I never liked dresses until I hung around my girlfriends more and more everyday. And their girlyness rubbed off on me in a good way of course. When I shop in packs with them I noticed the first things we go to are the dresses, then shoes, and then accessories. For the past 3 years my closet has tripled in the dress department. And then I figured I must not be the only girl going through this! Even till now I shop for dresses when I know the only shopping I should be doing is window shopping. And the problem isn't the dress but that I tend to buy dresses that need a special occasion like a very important party or holiday. But I did find the solution: convertable dresses. One size fits all, versatile styles, and a different look for everyday of the week.

    1. American Apparel's Le Sac dress is made in 26 various colors with the low price of $38. The le sac dress has a more contemporary look. I have been tempted many times to buy this dress. But that is why someone invented christmas lists.

    2. Kariza Designs has this fun gypsy like element and they only use silk fabrics. I first came across this brand in St. Augustine, FL but I also found them at local stores near the gulf. On their site it is $79, but my friend bought hers for $25.

    3. Victoria's Secret has a ruched convertable collection. This dress goes for $88 which is understandable. It being ruched makes this convertable stand out from the crowd. Definitely a dress you can order a martini in.

    4. Monif C. "Marilyn Collection" caters to plus sizes, very well I might add. This dress goes for $195. May I remind you it pays to look good.

And I borrowed my friend's kariza design on our night out in St. Augustine. See I know what I'm talking aobut.

Do you like convertable dresses or own any already?

  • Alexander McQueen's Plato's Atlantis Shoes

Check out Alexander McQueen's Spring 2010 shoe line. Is it daring, extreme, or just plain bizarre? You be the judge.

McQueen has designed the ultimate statement shoe. This 10 inch heel is a sure fire way to liven up a party conversation. Honestly, if I see a lady with this shoe on there are two things on my mind. You look absolutely amazing and does your feet hurt?

These shoes are works of art to be admired, but would you buy them to wear or display it in your living room on a pedestal?
