  • I fell in love with BB Dakota in 10 minutes

    Hearts are red.
    The sky is blue.
    I love BB Dakota!
    How about you?

Just a little over 2 years ago I had my first taste of BB Dakota clothing. I was at a Private Gallery boutique window shopping when this cute, striped black and white dress caught my eye amongst dozens of other dresses. What I liked most about this dress were the stripes. It was such an easy and simple pattern but with a little draping and the right body type this dress was so much more. At first, I admit I looked like a potato sack. It made me look very frumpy and as if I had no body shape at all. But 5 minutest passed, then 10 minutes and slowly but surely the dress made me feel happy. My friends always tell me when I like clothes I dance in them which in this case I was dancing for joy! After I bought this dress my BB Dakota collection has evolved into 3 dresses, 2 dress tops, 1 jacket, and 6 skirts. What can I say I adore the brand BB Dakota!

I was so surprised when I googled "BB Dakota" a picture of Rihanna popped up wearing the same exact dress that I bought of BB Dakota's for the first time. It was a major coincidence that I found out not too long ago. The dress is exactly the same I just turned the dress around and put the bow on my back instead of on my chest and I gave it a more cleaner look by adding a floppy hat and heels.

Do you have a brand that you can't get off your mind every time you go shopping in a boutique?

  • The Bubelle Dress

This dress sole purpose is to decipher the wearer's feelings through colors. When you are happy it turns a shade of green, when you are angry the obvious color will be red. How fun is that!

In all honesty the way the color reflects emotions the panels or cloth detects the body temperature and sweat levels and then produce the programmed color to match the certain temperature and sweat levels. Amazing what you can do with technology and a little bit of fabric. But if you want specifics then read more here.

Imagine getting to wear a dress any color you want at any time of the day. But if you want a red dress then that means you have to be angry all day. That sounds like more of a job that a privilege to wear this dress. But imagine the possibilities!

How do you feel about this new invention and breakthrough in fashion?

    5 Ridiculously Cute Cameo Wares

I have always loved cameo jewelry but there were no other ways to wear cameo themed objects unless it is earrings, necklaces, bracelets, or need I say brooches. Here are some inventive ways to wear this old fashioned look.

    1. I never liked flats because there is no arch support and flip flops have the same purpose. But I can find some space in my shoe collection for some cameo flats! (above)

    2. Rainy days are pretty dreary in the south so why not brighten them up with a splash of fashionable accessorizing. I love the idea of a cameo umbrella especially when they double up as a fashion accessory.

    3. This cameo skirt is simply the bee's knees. I don't know what that means but I'm pretty sure that is a metaphor for an absolutely darling skirt.

    4. This cameo design is perfect on a scarf. Not too much pattern that throws off the scarf flow of things.

    5. And a charming cameo pillow will liven any party conversations you might have in the future. Or a baby's room, hopefully it's a girl!

Do you like cameo themed objects or are they out dated?

  • Crushing On : Michael Bublé

This has been going on for a while now. My secret crush on Michael Bublé. Well it's not really a secret because my sister, best friend, and husband knows how I obsess over his enigmatic voice.

I didn't even take notice of his looks when I started my crush. It was all about the voice. His music genre may be called crooning or jazz. But it is so much more than that. His melodious voice makes me want to cry, be happy, get married even! Wait, I already am but I will use one of his songs if not all during my reception. My point is the man can sing. But why is his genre so unappreciated?

And not only does he follow in the classic steps of Frank Sinatra but he also embodies the very music he writes. Another thing I love about Bublé, he writes his own lyrics. Not many artists say they can write their own material anymore. When I see him on tv I can feel the passion and conviction he sings with. I suppose the charm and confidence he carries with him makes you like him that much more. But he can be humorous and laid back enough so you can relate. And since Michael Jackson died I want to see live performances from great singers alike. That is why I am going to buy 2 tickets for my sister and me for Michael Bublé's tour "Crazy Love." She got me hooked on him after all.

Does anyone else out there like Michael Bublé as much as I do?

Big boobs or big butts: Who has it worse?

Today I was trying on the cutest dress at TJ Maxx. You know just wasting my money away. What can I say I'm a sucker for deals. It was square cut at the neck, cream white base with an attached black skirt and the zipper showing down the back. It fitted my hips, covered enough leg, but didn't fit my chest. I was kind of devastated. This is the effect dresses have on me. Everything about the dress was great. The style, the fit, the neutral colors, and the way it made me feel. Other than my boobs look like they are being suffocated. The only problem with the dress was that it wasn't made for anyone who is skinny and endowed. So I liked the dress so much I bought it for my best friend because she would also look great in it but then I thought about her assets. And we both were contemplating who had it worse when it comes finding clothes befitting of our bodies?

Having a larger bust is a gift if you are a male with an over active sex drive. I have tried on a many of dresses that I thought my bust didn't look so bad but it did look bad! I bought those dresses and then returned them realizing if it doesn't fit, it doesn't fit. So do you think the busty girls have it bad?

My best friend debated she had it worse because even though certain dresses can't fit my top I can always find fitted tops. Wherein she can't find a good pair of jeans made for bootylicious girls unless it's one of those brands made especially but costs more than what pants should be. Or do you think big butted girls have it worse?
